KartCoach is built by Foundation 51 Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Katy, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the KartCoach iOS app and website, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using KartCoach you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Account Information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your name and email from those providers according to your privacy settings with them.
Telemetry and Session Data
KartCoach is a telemetry analysis application. When you upload a session from your AiM MyChron data logger we collect and store:
Coaching and Analysis Data
We store the results of lap comparisons and coaching analysis generated for your sessions, including reference point metrics, time delta calculations, and AI-generated coaching text.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to KartCoach or book a coaching session, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. We store only the information Stripe provides us: a payment method identifier, the last four digits of your card, and transaction records.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage information such as which features you use, session upload frequency, and error logs. This helps us improve the app. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Device Information
We collect your device type, iOS version, and app version for debugging and compatibility purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
KartCoach uses Claude (by Anthropic, Inc.) to generate coaching language from pre-computed telemetry findings. When you request a coaching analysis, a summary of your session data — including lap times, reference point metrics, speed deltas, and braking point comparisons — is transmitted to Anthropic's API for text generation.
This data does not include your name, email, or payment information. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Raw GPS coordinates and full telemetry files are not transmitted to Anthropic — only aggregated numerical findings derived from your session.
Separately, when a track's corner layout is first analyzed, GPS-derived position data from a representative lap is sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. to assist in automatically detecting turn entry, apex, and exit points. This is used only to build the track's corner map and does not include your name, email, or payment information. OpenAI processes this data according to their privacy policy at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
We share only the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform their function. We do not sell data to any of these providers or to any third party.
We retain your account information and session data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal information and session data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as payment transaction records, which are retained for seven years for tax and accounting purposes).

KartCoach is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Users between 13 and 17 must have parental consent to use KartCoach.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you via email or in-app notification if the changes are material. Your continued use of KartCoach after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
